  1. Develops and implements strategies and processes for reducing supply expense/adjusted admission.
  2. Develops and implements product standardization and utilization.
  3. Monitors utilization and cost data and identifies waste.
  4. Develops and facilitates clinical product committees to reduce the number of SKUs by standardization, increase product quality, evaluate processes and introduce new products.
  5. Actively interacts with the clinicians performing the departmental tasks to identify improvement opportunities and develop/implement continuous quality improvement process regarding supply/labor practices and recommends cost reductions.
  6. Actively participates and communicates with Medical Staff and clinical staff to monitor, communicate, and make improvements to utilization profiling.
  7. Actively participates, communicates and educates all affected departments, physicians, and medical management personnel regarding product and procedure changes.
  8. Maintains and communicates financial and performance measurements as gauge of standardization/utilization success.
  9. Collaborate with physicians in identifying and implementing improvements and standardization.
  10. Measures and continuously verifies process improvements and cost savings.
  11. Demonstrates knowledge of occurrence reporting system and utilizes system to report potential patient safety issues.
  12. Practice and adhere to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement."
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

  2. Demonstrated organizational and communication skills.

1. Too-long job description:
