I. List of Pet photographer duties:

         1.            Recruit new clients by circulating through PetSmart to help customers with their Pet needs, encouraging hospital visits, welcoming clients and Pets to tour the hospital, and ensuring that clients and Pets are comfortable in the hospital.
         2.            Facilitate the introduction of Banfield services to PetSmart customers by providing exceptional service (such as assisting owners with collar-fittings for their dog or cat)
         3.            Engage PetSmart customers in discussions of Pet healthcare, building the customer''s awareness of the importance of preventive care and referring potential clients to the hospital.
         4.            Answer basic questions regarding the preventive healthcare needs of Pets.
         5.            Educate clients about the needs of their Pets, Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, Banfield services, and other issues.
         6.            Provide an introduction to our practice, which would include the practice brochure.
         7.            Increase the positive awareness of the hospital through direct contact with PetSmart customers. Ensure a positive overall shopping experience and assist with all Pet needs.
         8.            Develop a positive, professional relationship with the PetSmart associates and hospital team members.
         9.            Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, using promotional materials to promote business.
     10.            Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times. .
     11.            During slow PetSmart store times, assist in the Banfield hospital with client call backs or scheduling appointments
     12.            Track the number ofnew clients
     13.            Other job duties as assigned

II. List of Pet photographer qualifications


         1.            Ability to multi-task- Manages multiple tasks at one time; quickly and accurately shifts attention among multiple tasks under distracting conditions without loss of accuracy or appearance of frustration.
         2.            Communication skills - Reads, writes and speaks fluent English, using appropriate grammar, style and vocabulary. Correctly spells commonly used English words and job specific terms. Demonstrates exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.
         3.            Organizational ability - Demonstrates a systematic approach in carrying out assignments. Is very orderly and excels at cutting through confusion and turning chaos into order.
         4.            Problem solving skills - Demonstrates a strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems. Translates problems into practical solutions.
         5.            Client service skills - Consistently ensures the team provides the client with attentive, courteous and informative service. Gains and shows personal satisfaction from delivering great service.
         6.            Intellectual ability - Accurately and consistently follows instructions delivered in an oral, written or diagram format. Can provide directions.
         7.            Mathematical ability - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, and to compute rate, ratio and percent; ability to convert units of measurement.
         8.            Computer skills - Comfortably and confidently uses a computer and specialized software. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.
         9.            Sales and marketing skills - Educates clients on preventive care, Pet health needs and hospital services and energetically promotes the benefits of Optimum Wellness Plans.

III. Tips to write job description

1. Too-long job description:

Looking at a too-long job description can frighten the candidates off and drive the away. A job description, no matter how important the job is, should not be included in more than 3 pages. If one focuses on too many things at a time, he shall definitely lose focus on the main items and get overwhelmed by the remaining; So, keep it concisely.

2. Too-short job description:

While too-long can be a problem, too-short is more a problem. It will ruin the meaning of the job description. A too-short one means it lacks necessary details and therefore, the candidate will not be able to understand while reading it.

3. Listing unnecessary functions or job duties:
